22 WATTS OF HANDWIRED FILLMORE TONE

The FE 22 Duane Head brings the Duane-inspired Fillmore East voice into a powerful, handwired amplifier head with increased headroom and authority, while giving you the freedom to pair it with the cabinet and speaker combination of your choice.

Built around a point-to-point handwired circuit housed in an aluminum chassis, the FE 22 uses 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84s in the power section for a responsive, harmonically rich feel that comes alive as the amp is pushed.

We use beefier output and mains transformers to provide greater headroom, stability and low-end authority, while tube rectification adds the natural response and compression associated with great vintage tube amplifiers.

22 OR 10 WATTS

Our Half Power Switch lets you choose between the full 22-watt output or 10 watts.

Run it at 22 watts when you want greater headroom, punch and stage authority, or switch down to 10 watts when you want to push the amplifier harder at more manageable levels.

Combined with our post-phase-inverter master volume, the FE 22 gives you exceptional control over both volume and feel, making it equally at home in the studio, smaller venues or opened up on stage.

THREE-POSITION VOICING CONTROL

The FE 22 isn't locked into a single Fillmore voice.

The three-position voicing control lets you move from the warmer, rounder and harmonically rich Duane-inspired voice, through an in-between setting that blends characteristics of both, and into the clearer, tighter and more articulate Dickey-inspired voice.

Optional Spring Reverb

Both models are available with true spring reverb. Reverb can be a really powerful musical spice. Most recordings include some kind of reverb to create dimension and space. Part of the Magic for the Fillmore Recordings was the Fillmore room itself. Whether you are playing a small gig or jamming at home or even the large venues, having onboard reverb adds to your overall tone.
