Product Details

The Anthem Dual Drive pedal is a tribute to the legendary tones of Lynyrd Skynyrd. And a ny fan that knows the history of Skynyrd, knows about the Legendary hits written at the Hell House in Jacksonville during those early days. The Tones of Rossington - Collins - King and Gaines are all available with the Anthem.

"Simple Man", "Tuesday's Gone", "Sweet Home Alabama", "Don't Ask Me No Questions", "Gimme Three Steps", and "Free Bird" which many consider to be the greatest closing song in the history of live music, can all be obtained with this unique Dual Drive.

The Anthem Dual Drive pedal is very dynamic and touch-sensitive. This means that it responds very well to your playing dynamics, and can produce a wide range of tones.

The toggle switch on the pedal allows you to select between three different voicings:

  • Position 1: Collins
  • Position 2: King - Gaines
  • Position 3: Rossington and More

The toggle in position three is perfect for getting those signature Rossington tones. It is a fat and warm tone with plenty of drive and articulation. Position one is perfect for getting those Collins. It is a overdriven sound with a warm midrange growl. Position two is great for clean biting tones that sing with sustain. Single coil players are going to love this setting. It is a versatile sound that can be used for a variety of different purposes.

* To get those signature Rossington tones, set the toggle switch to position three and cut the gain up and set the volume at the best level for your amp. This will give you a fat, warm sound with plenty of articulation. You can also add a little phase in the mix to get even closer to Rossington's sound especially for the slide tones.

To get the beautiful King searing clean tones, set the toggle switch to the center position two and bring the gain down a little while raising he volume level up. This will give you a slightly overdriven sound with a clean tone that has enough punch and sustain. You can also experiment with the Voice control to dial in a tone that you like.

To get those Collins and Gaines tones, set the toggle switch to position one and crank the gain up. This will give you a thick, overdriven sound that is perfect for those signature tones. The tone and voice control will add just enough highs so that your licks have enough bite to stand out.

* Engineered for smooth dynamic response and vintage coloration. Completely sensitive to the volume and tone knobs of your guitar. The Voice control allows you to dial in more of a vintage speaker tone and response. Similar to the vintage Black Widow and JBL Speakers.

* Yes, the dual drive pedal gives you the added benefit of having an extra gain stage when you want a little more. This is perfect for solos or added drive without having to stack extra pedals.

No matter how you choose to use it, the extra gain stage on the dual drive pedal is a powerful tool that can help you expand your tonal palette and create new and exciting sounds.

Here are some specific examples of how you could use the extra gain stage:

  • For solos: Set the one channel of the pedal with a clean or low-gain sound and the other channel when engaged will add that higher gain needed for a overdriven solo. This way, you can quickly switch to a lead sound for your solos without having to touch your amp settings.
  • For added drive: Set both channels of the pedal with the same level of volume and gain, but use the Voice control to dial in different tones. This way, you can have two different lead sounds, or two different rhythm sounds at your fingertips and all controlled by the volume on your guitar.
  • For a boost: Set the gain of the pedal below noon on the dial and the volume just above the same for a clean boost when the second foot switch is engaged. This way, you can quickly boost your signal for solos or for extra volume when needed.
  • For stacking: You can also stack the Anthem Dual Drive pedal with other pedals to create even more complex and interesting sounds. For example, you could stack it with another overdrive pedal like our Statesboro Bluesman to create a very thick and saturated sound. Or, you could stack it with a distortion pedal to create a very heavy and aggressive sound.

Overall, the Anthem Dual Drive pedal is a great choice for guitarists who are looking for a versatile and powerful pedal that can deliver a wide range of tones. It is especially well-suited for guitarists who are fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd or who are looking for a pedal that can deliver those classic rock tones.
