The Big Kahuna Master Drive pedal delivers exceptional tonal versatility, surpassing the capabilities of many pedals on the market. Engineered to enhance your individual sound, the Kahuna features three distinct clipping modes and a selectable half-power/full-power mode for adjusting headroom and dynamics, providing a comprehensive palette for serious guitarist.

Full Power/Half Power: The Kahuna's gain control behaves differently depending on whether you're in half-power or full-power mode. Full-power mode offers maximum headroom and output, giving the gain control a wider range and allowing for everything from subtle boosts to powerful, tube amp-like distortion. In half-power mode, the overall output and headroom are reduced, leading to increased compression. This means the gain control will produce a smoother, more compressed overdrive at lower settings. Cranking the gain in half-power mode will result in a highly saturated and compressed tone due to the lower headroom. Essentially, half-power mode provides a distinct overdrive character, often at lower volumes, and can bring out different nuances in the pedal's sound.
