Our Original Designed Rock Set is focused, articulate, edgy, biting, and powerful. The name of the pickup lays it right out there. It’s a hotter PAF-style pickup for more versatility. What you get with this pickup is a pickup that’s designed to produce more punch in your face. Talk to any good pickup winder and they’ll agree that over-winding does not always mean more output/volume.

On a dirty amp setting, this pickup is right at home. It sits well within the mix and it can easily jump right out for lead work. Riffing is punchy, chords are open and lead work has edge. All the harmonics are quick to chime with presence and sustain. This would easily be a top pick to bring life into a lower end guitar and to some of the most expensive made today.

The Bridge pickup has a definite sweet sustain and enough growl when you turn the volume knob up. You literally can dial in a Vintage PAF tone but with a lot more articulation and volume with a ton of Fat & Woody tones.

The Neck pickup is wound to match and has all of the clarity that the bridge position has with a cello like sustain and natural woody tone. If you need more it is as simple as turning your volume knob up on the guitar and listen to the response. It has plenty of drive and sustain.
